The Victorian Infection and Immunity Network (VIIN) bring together researchers from diverse disciplines across various nodes within Victoria who have an interest in infection and immunity.
The main purpose of VIIN is to connect established and emerging infection and immunity researchers with the goal of seeding new collaborations and strengthen research performance and capabilities.
VIIN approached hello to first develop the brand strategy which later evolved into the creation of a brand, brandmark and website.
The end result for the VIIN brandmark reflects networking, congregation, business connections and support - all of which are key attributes belonging to VIIN. The shapes within the symbol congregate to become a 'V'.
The website design process began with detailed collaboration between VIIN and hello to meticulously develop the wireframe and site map. Due to the complexity of the site, it was crucial we determined the way in which we wanted the user to navigate the site before we put pen to paper.
The VIIN brand means VIIN now have an identity. Since it's creation, researches within Immunity and Infection now have a portal to connect. The website provides a very simple platform for people to find resources and connect with like-minded people. The VIIN membership database continues to grow and expand on a daily basis.
It was a pleasure working with you. Our network is thrilled with the new brand and website. Visitors to the VIIN website have said it has a clean, refreshing design. People have said the VIIN brandmark is clever and modern and have asked after you. Beautiful designs, excellent project management, real engagement with our project. Thank you for your work on this project.
